Description
We're baaaaaaaaaaaaaack! The Back2School 5k Family Walk/Run! This is a non-competitive, non-timed family friendly event. There will be music, face painting, jumping castles and more. Come join us for a relaxed and laid back morning at Stapleton Central Park.
The purpose of our walk is to bring the community together and raise funds for our scholarships, college preparatory & boys2MEN programs. To date we have awarded $47,000 in scholarships; escorted 350 students to 7 in- state college campuses and 18 students to 2 out-of-state campus; worked with over 500 young men in our signature boys2MEN programs; and have had over 400 students participate in the Practice ACT/SAT Test Workshop. Our goal this year is to continue providing these valuable and rewarding college preparatory programs at no cost to students and inspiring more young men to take their place in society as leaders.
