Do I have to run with a dog?
Of course not! We know not every dog likes to run and not everyone has a dog. With or without a dog, come out and join the race. We also have vendors of all kinds at the event, so you can feel free to mingle rather than run if you'd like.
Is the race professionally timed?
Yes. The Walk, Run & Wag is timed by 3W Races. You can use this race to officially qualify for other races such as the Bolder Boulder.
How many dogs can run with me?
As many as you feel you can handle. Remember: safety is our number one priority. If you can’t safely run with multiple dogs, leave them at home. Also, please have all dogs on leashes and ensure they have current vaccinations.
The Walk, Run & Wag is a completely accessible race and people using wheelchairs, walkers, canes, etc. are all encouraged to participate!
The race will also be presented in ASL with volunteer interpreters available on-site. There will be very few announcements made and there is no official awards ceremony. The race starts promptly at 8am and the start line will be clearly marked.
