The Mile High Mile presented by Sara Vaughn at Liv Sotheby' is back for 2022 and bigger than ever!! This year we are hosting at Centaurus High School where they have top facilities, including bathrooms, snack bar, scoreboard, PA with announcing and music, grandstands, lots of parking, etc.
It is conveniently located just east of Boulder in Lafayette, CO, there are lots of great areas to warm up and cool down around the facility.
We aim to build a high-energy event for runners of all ages and abilities. With each wave, we introduce all athletes, and there is a chance to break the tape! Stick around to cheer the top competition under the stars and the lights!
We are happy to announce we will be a part of the USATF Masters Mid-America Region Outdoor Championships and hosting the mile event as part of our Master's race. If you are a USATF member, you will be eligible for top 3 awards in each 5-year age group. We will not be holding individual age group races but everyone will run in the Masters and Grand Masters races.
Age Graded - There will be a prize package for the top Age Graded performance for both a man and woman.
Will we see an attempt at the 4 min mile barrier in CO?
