Journey to the Center of Connecticut

Are you ready to take the journey?

Even though the exact center of the state is located in the middle of a backyard, CT benchmarks it on Middletown Road located in the town of Berlin CT. Runners will get a chance to run by this benchmark in a looped 5K measured race. This hand timed race starts  flat and ends down hill, and a photographer will be stationed to capture  participants running through "the center." Runners running the 5K will receive a custom light up medal. There will be no swag provided to mile participants.  Profits from both races will benefit local animal shelters in CT. Online registration closes September 6th for both distances, unless 5K cap is reached. Prizes will be available for top finishers in the 5K option, and after race snacks and beverages will be provided.

"no frills" 1 Mile option

Cost: $15 online until 8/31/18 11:59PM ET,  $20 after and on race day; no cap On-site registration and bib pickup from 12:15 PM to 12:50 PM

5K option

Cost: $30 online until 8/31/18 11:59PM ET,  $35 after and on race day unless sold out. 200 cap for runners. On-site registration and bib pickup from 12:15 PM to 12:50 PM
