Colonel Classic 5K

The 5th annual Colonel Classic 5K Road Race takes place on a moderately hilly picturesque route (partially closed to traffic) is highlighted by flat, stone wall lined, country roads, in rural southeastern Connecticut. Presented by PALESTRA, a student led group attempting to "change our world through sport".  

The 5K course bears left on Colonel Ledyard Highway and continues for approximately 1.5 miles. At Maple Terrace, turn right, then loop back and turn left onto Colonel Ledyard Highway. Continue along Colonel Ledyard Highway until the finish at Ledyard High School’s main entrance.

Please note: The date for this event has changed. It will now be held on June 2, 2018, please contact the race organizer if you are registered but now no longer able to take part.

• Top overall male and female
• Top three male and female age group winners (12 categories)

Advance Entry Fees (before May 31)

• Under 19 yrs $20
• 19 - 60 yrs $30
• Over 60 yrs $25
• Race day registration is $35

Race entry before May 14, includes race shirt (youth and women's sizes available).

Ample Parking available. Indoor restrooms.

All participants welcome.  No dogs please.
