BBB Attorneys 5k Challenge

Join Attorney Peter Billings and Attorney Peter Bowman in their race to fight hunger. Billings and Bowman are having a not-so-friendly competition to see who is the fastest. Join them during the weekend of August ___ thru ___ , 2020 and see if you can beat their time. 

The proceeds of our race will benefit FoodShare, one of the top food pantry/hunger charities in Connecticut. 50% of our proceeds will go to FoodShare and 50% to the cash prizes. A true 50/50 race. 

This race is a digital and virtual race. Participants will run their own 5k course. You can run the flattest 3.1 miles you can find or use popular route tools to run an exact 5k. See https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/create/ or other websites. You can run one 5k or attempt several over the weekend. Post your best time to win cash prizes. Instead of shirts, hats, medals or swag, we will be giving away cash prizes in the following areas: First, Second and Third Overall; Fastest time for the beginner 5k participants and slowest time!

Also, we are offering time reductions if you do any of the following during and/or after your race: 

1. Run by a Courthouse on your route;
2. Take a photo in front of a courthouse or law office during your run; 
3. If this is your first 5k; 
4. If you are an attorney!

The race must be run from 12:01 a.m. on August ___ thru 12:01 p.m. on August ____ . Results will be posted and announced on Monday, August ___ . Winners will be asked to verify their time and route via screenshot from a tracking app, after posting their time.
