Description

This is a Virtual 5k race to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the founding of the Order of AHEPA.  The American Hellenic Educational Progressive association was founded in 1922  in Atlanta, Georgia, on the principles that undergirded its fight for civil rights and against discrimination, bigotry, and hatred. AHEPA is the largest and oldest grassroots association of American citizens of Greek heritage and Philhellenes with more than 400 chapters across the United States, Canada, and Europe.  

The mission of the AHEPA Family is to promote Hellenism, Education, Philanthropy, Civic Responsibility, Family and Individual Excellence.

Once you register for this virtual race challenge,   Safely run/walk/treadmill the distance of 5k.  You decide when and where (between March 16 to June 15).  Once done, come back to this page and log the fact you finished.  This must be done before June 15, 2022.  Medals will be mailed after the deadline date. 

Run this event as an individual,  or join friends and safely run/walk as a group, or chapter.

Proceeds from this event will be going to the AHEPA Foundation 501(c)(3).
