*UPDATE As of 3/9 participants are allowed to lower their masks during the actual race portion of the event.
"Participants who can maintain social distancing during the race, to do so with no masks. When social distancing cannot be maintained, at the start and finish lines, and in at any other time where people may be gathered, masks are required."



Due to COVID we are not able to host the annual 5K at Carousel Park this year.  However that will not stop us from having our LIVE 5K.

This year we will be moving our race to Midnight Oil and look forward to being back at Carousel in 2022.

All proceeds from this event go to support the active duty and retired horses of the New Castle County Division of Police's Mounted Patrol Unit.

Bib Pick Up

Sunday May 16th from 8:00am till 8:55am at Midnight Oil.
5K Start Time 9am.
*NO Day of Registration

Virtual 5K Information

What is a virtual 5K?
A virtual 5K is a race you can run or walk anytime and anywhere you like.  
How do I post my results for the 5K?
From now until Sunday May 16th you can submit your official time.
Click the results page HERE.
Click the Submit Virtual Results button on the right side.
Provide your information.
Submit your time.
*Remember this is on the honor system.
Will my results count for age group awards?
Your virtual results do not count towards age group awards.  However you can print off a finishers certificate online.
You can pick up your SWAG at no charge at Captain Blue Hens on Main Street.  SWAG pick up dates are Wednesday May 19th until June 2nd.  Please go to their FB PAGE for hours and directions.
