Description
Welcome to the 2019 Delaware Brain Tumor Walk and Timed 5K Run! The purpose of the event is to raise awareness and much-needed resources to fund critical brain tumor-specific programs to improve the lives of all those affected by brain tumors. Hosted by the National Brain Tumor Society, the Delaware Brain Tumor Walk & 5K Run offer individuals and teams a chance to honor and remember loved ones, connect with others interested in the brain tumor cause, and help to educate the local community on the diverse needs of the brain tumor community.

Location: Bellevue Park, (Figure 8 Barn) 800 Carr Rd, Wilmington, DE 19809
Registration: 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM
Remembrance Ceremony: 9:45 AM
Team Captain Tribute on Stage: 10:00 AM
Survivor Speaker/Photo: 10:10 AM
Run/Walk Start Time: 10:30 AM (*Runners will enter course first)
All funds raised through our events allow the National Brain Tumor Society to advance research and public policy to improve the availability of new and better treatments, and fuel the discovery of a cure for brain tumors.
