Do I have to fundraise to run?
No, but we hope that you will want to fundraise by joining our Give or Get Program to help provide needy families in Israel with basic clothing essentials. Your registration fee will cover the cost of your participation.
How do I participate in the Give or Get Program?
TO GET: Before completing your Dash registration, click on the BECOME A FUNDRAISER button. You will then have the opportunity to create a personalized fundraising page with pictures and your very own message. You can direct your friends and family to this page via email and social media and ask them to support your Dash to raise money to give clothing to needy families.
To GIVE: Before completing your Dash registration, click on DONATE. You will then be able to choose the amount of money you would like to donate to help give families in Israel warm and beautiful clothing.
Will there be Prizes?
Participation in the Give or Get Program provides families in Israel basic clothing essentials but also entities you to special Yad Leah prizes:
Anyone who donates or raises $500 or more by November 1 will receive a prize. Prizes will be announced soon.
Anyone who donates or raises $1,000 or more by November 11 will receive a special prize. Prizes will be announced soon.
How can I sponsor a participant?
Online contributions can be made via credit card on the participant's personalized page. Scroll down to search for a participant.
Alternatively, checks can be made out to Yad Leah and mailed to:

I am concerned that I might not be able to raise any money. Will I be able to do it?
Don’t worry! Even if you've never raised money before, our materials and strategies will make it easy for you to solicit and collect sponsorships from friends, family, colleagues, neighbors, and others. Experience has shown that it is not only possible but enjoyable, to set and reach your goals.
Please refer to the sample letters found on your personal fundraising page center explaining Yad Leah and the Dash for Dignity. You will be surprised to see how quickly friends, family, and co-workers will respond to your request.
Just remember to make it personal as well, as you want them to know that they are sponsoring YOU and YOUR efforts!
