2nd Annual Upstander 5K Run/Walk Benefiting Bullying Recovery Resource Center

According to a Yale University study, bullying victims are 2 to 9 times more likely to consider suicide than non-victims. Furthermore, a study in Britain found that at least half of the suicides among young people are related to bullying. If the US uses that percentage with youth suicide, at least 2,200 suicides are related to bullying. Together, we can reduce that number! At BRRC, we believe that adults are responsible for STOPPING bullying. We empower, educate and advocate shoulder to shoulder with families who are experiencing bullying. As a result of our work, we are building a community of families who support one another, rebuild and recover together.

Your contribution allows us to build capacity, reach more families and ultimately reduce the rate of teen suicide. Sustained support allows us to continue to create a safe and fun place for kids and their families to heal from bullying together and create a world of upstanders.
