Race Course

The 5K Trail run will take you on adventure through the quiet and beautiful wetlands of Blueberry Trail, around Lake Oneida, through pine flat woods and deep swamp. It overlaps the Goldenrod Trail at times and traverses the gambit of UNF habitats; from Swamp to Sand Hill to Flatwoods. You will see beautiful goldenrod flowers that bloom in the fall and will also pass one of the Grandfather Cypress trees that live on campus. Also on the trail is an area that is home to a healthy Gopher Tortoise population. These land dwelling tortoises live over 60 years and provide underground homes to countless reptiles, amphibians and small mammals.  See the link below for a map of the course.
