The mission of Samaritan Well is to provide a supportive and structured environment for men, women and families who are without homes and in need of shelter.

This race in memorial of John Bliven is a man who served in the McDonough County Sheriff's Office for 50 years. At the time of his death in 1999, he was Illinois' longest serving sheriff.
