5-Mile Run and 5K Walk

Brief Description:

Start your New Year with a Great Finish with this New Year's Day Tradition. Choose either a 5 Mile Run or a 5K Walk.

Run Divisions - Male and Female:

19/under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over

Walk Divisions - Male and Female:

29/under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over

Awards:

Top male and female runners and walkers and top in each age division.

All finishers will receive a commemorative participation medal.

Note: Overall Winner awards are based on Gun Time. Age Group winners will be based on Chip Time. There will be a separate walk start.

Post-Race:

Join us inside the (warm) gym for light refreshments and our awards ceremony

Registration Fee:

$20 Advance registration, $25 Late Registration, $30 Race Day Registration

T-Shirts:

Short Sleeved Dri-Fit UnisexT-Shirts are optional and available for $10 while supplies last.

Advance registration:

Pre-Register online through Friday, December 29, 2017 for $20.

Register online on Saturday and Sunday 12/30 and 12/31 for $25.

Register by Mail or at the YMCA. Paper registration forms can be mailed or dropped off at the Campbell County YMCA.  Postmark by Wednesday, December 27, 2017.

Late Registration and Packet pick up:

Late Registration and Packet pick up will be at the Tri State Running located at 148 Barnwood Drive Edgewood, KY 41017 on Saturday, December 30 and Sunday, December 31 and from 10am-6pm.

Race Day Registration and Packet pick up:

You may also register or pick up your packet on race day at the venue from 7:30 am - 8:45 am

Course:

5 Mile Run loops throughout Ft. Thomas 

5K Walk course is an out-and-back course

Both  events start and end at the YMCA. Check out the Course tab for details.

Chip Timing:

This year's race will be accurately "chip timed" using MyLaps Bib Tag technology. No need to return chips this year!

This year's race will be professionally, accurately "chip timed" by Running Time Race Services using MyLaps disposable Bib Tag technology.The chip will be on the bib number. No need to turn in pull tags or return the timing chip.
