Camp Horsin' Around Virtual Charity Run!

Camp Horsin’ Around provides a special get-away adventure for children living with chronic illness and special needs – a place where kids can enjoy just being kids! Sadly, Camp Horsin’ Around is closed this summer because of COVID-19.

You can help us keep the Camp strong and ready for when it’s time for the kids to return! We have big plans in-store at our outdoor adventure camp as we continue to make a difference in their lives.

We are hosting a Virtual Run to give hope to health-compromised children and keep the Camp strong.

All event proceeds will help children experience our camp who are battling cancer, diabetes, kidney disease, hearing impairment, or have other illnesses or special needs. Please feel free to donate any extra amounts with the donate button! Additional donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law.

Here’s how it works: You select the setting where you’d like to run or walk, anytime in the month of July, and select from a half marathon, 10K, or 5K. You can take a video or picture of your run and share it with us on Facebook (www.facebook.com/camphorsin). We are excited to see your adventures and share them with others. The half marathon will get a medal and race t-shirt. The 10K and 5K will get a race t-shirt. (Or if you don't need or want a medal or t-shirt, you have the option to decline these when you register.)

Thank you for your support. This is a great way to get exercise, enjoy the outdoors, spend time with family and friends … and brighten the lives of the special children of Camp Horsin’ Around.
