1st Annual ALUMNI 5K

The Sanford High 2019 Homecoming "Alumni" Weekend will feature the First Annual Alumni 5k. The Alumni 5k will be a road race/walk to support Sanford Alumni Association and will be held annually on Homecoming weekend.

Registration begins at 8:00am.
5K run/walk starts at 9:00 am.

This event will be manual-timed if under 100 runners if over 100 it will chip timed.

Race Course: The race begins and ends on the Sanford Alumni Stadium Track at The "NEW" Sanford High School, located at 100 Alumni Boulevard in Sanford Maine. The course route will include initial and last lap on the "Alumni" track. The race will be held on the Sanford High Campus utilizing various campus paths and roads.

COURSE SPECIFICS:
The 5K will start on the track where they start the 100 m races, 1 lap around the track and then exit from the gate near storage building, around the back of the building, come out near greenhouse and proceed down the sidewalk around the JV baseball field, come out on road and continue to the end of the softball field parking lot, turn around and come back up sidewalk near softball field, take road all way to Rt 4, turn around and come back to bus loop and back in the track, run 1 1/2 laps to finish at the finish line near the concession.

First 50 registrants receive a free t-shirt.
Age group awards will be given following the race for 1st Overall Male and Overall Female & 1st Male and Female for 4 age groups

Our age based pre-registration pricing tiers for the 5K are as follows:
BEFORE RACE DAY: Aged Based Registration prices:
Students under age 19 - $20
Senior Citizens 55-older $20
Adults 19 and over - $25

A $5.00 charge will be added to any same day registration participants
