***IMPORTANT NOTICE***Change of the location. Due to the unexpected heavy snow, the Robin Hills Farm is so gorgeous now but its trail is not suitable for a race. We will move the race to a new location, Hudson Mills Park at Dexter, which has also a terrific scene at this moment. We are extremely sorry for any inconvenience this brings to you but your safety is our primary concern. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday.
Laps for Literacy 5K Run/Walk is organized by a BookBridge (https://a2bookbridge.wixsite.com/mysite), a student-led club at Skyline High School (https://www.a2schools.org/skyline). One of our goals is to raise funds and donations to buy new books for underprivileged children at the Walker Literacy Center in Detroit (https://www.walkerliteracycenter.org/). Another portion of the funds and donations will go towards future BookBridge projects. The race will be held at Hudson Mills Park, Dexter MI (http://www.metroparks.com/parks/hudson-mills-metropark/) on the Saturday afternoon of November 16, 2019 before the busy Thanksgiving weekend. This race is a family-friendly event, and we encourage kids and adults of all ages to come!
