Money raised from these donations will help in locating and identifying the rare, threatened and endangered plants and animal species locations within the park boundaries to ensure their protection and preservation. As part of this ongoing effort non-native invasive species will also be inventoried to enhance their future removal or control efforts. The end result of this funding could range from providing financial support for the hiring of a summer student to the purchase of trail cameras to help monitor Bald Eagle nests.
