Description

The LES Revel Run/Walk celebrates the diverse and vibrant Lower East Side, the historic gateway of generations of new Americans.

A day that promotes health, fitness, diversity and unity to benefit youth after school programs in the community.

The run/walk is inspired by and in memory of Pavel Lempert, a dear friend, neighbor and community leader who passed away in August of 2017. The event embodies the spirit and values with which Pavel lived his life: bringing people together around community, civic engagement, health and wellness and celebrating our incredible neighborhood.

All net proceeds will benefit University Settlement Society of New York’s Beacon program, which provides after-school activities, sports teams, and arts and music classes to students throughout the neighborhood.

Early bird price (through 9/15): $30 adult, $15 youth & seniors

After 9/15: $40 adult, $20 youth & seniors

Race day: $50 adult, $25 youth & seniors

For 2019 a 400 meter youth run has been added with a $5 registration fee for those 8 and under.  When registering please indicate if you plan to participate in the youth run.

Volunteers welcome and needed - please click on the volunteers button on top of this page if interested in helping with outreach to the community or on race day.

When registering, please let us know if you will be running/walking in memory of someone or for a charity, as we'd like to highlight your personal story on the race Facebook page (https://facebook.com/revel5k).
