Westchester Turkey Trot 10K & 5K

Hillside Food Pantry is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that delivers healthy food to citizens who are disabled or immobile. We reach out to citizens who have slipped through the cracks of social support.  One of our clients is a terminal cancer patient with two young children.  Another is a senior, on a fixed income, who had been eating cat food so that she could afford her medications. 82% of donations go directly to supporting our mission, and we thrive because of a strong volunteers base willing to make direct connections with our clients.  We serve our clients with compassion and dignity so that they can eat healthy food.  Our aim is to redefine “foodie” to being a person who is a socially conscious citizen; one who cares about food access and quality; a good human.
