Donation

Paine to Pain

We do our very best to keep this race as inexpensive as possible, so that all can join in regardless of their economic means.

One way is by having community volunteers instead of employees — everyone on the P2P race committee is a volunteer, including the Race Director.
Another way is community involvement — most of the post-race food is donated or sold to us at cost.
But many things we must pay for: shirts, medals, timing, permit fees, police, high school, toilets, insurance, etc.

And then we hope to have a surplus for trail work or local charities (such as we did during the darkest days of COVID).

So if you can afford to chip in additional funds, so that we can continue to put on a first class event with a shoestring registration fee, there are many out there who would be most appreciative.
