Description
The 2015 Coughlin Chevrolet Championship Series is a series of running and walking events that take place throughout central Ohio. Three 5K's and one 10K, all packaged together to save you time and money.
The race series is designed to appeal to runners and walkers of all levels of abilities. Elite runners will have the ability to win cash prizes, and age group awards will be given at all races in the series, giving you the opportunity to compete against others in your age group. All participants will receive a race-specific shirt for each event, and a high quality finisher’s medal upon completion of the event. Four races provides for four awesome medals for you to proudly display.
The four races in the series and their dates:
- June 7, 2015 - Columbus 10K - Genoa Park, downtown Columbus
- July 26th, 2015 – Stingray 5K – Glacier Ridge Metro Park
- August 14th, 2015 – GameDay 5K – Westerville Central High School
- September 5, 2015 - Fast 5K – Coughlin of Pataskala

Early Packet Pickup
Packets will be available for pickup two days prior to each event (three days for the Columbus 10K) at a specific Columbus Running Company location. Visit your nearest CRC store to get your race packet, and a new pair of shoes to train for the next event.

Stingray 5K - Choose your charity
The Stingray 5K will have mutilple charitable benefactors. Once their registered, the organization's name will be available for participants to choose when registering. All proceeds (race profits after expenses) from the event will be going to the registered organizations. When participants select a charity during the registration process, 100% of the proceeds from their registration fee will go toward the charity of their choice. If a participant does not select a specific charity from the list, their proceeds will be distributed evenly among all registered charities.
Do I have to select a charity to run for?
If there is no charity from the list that sparks your interest, you're still more than welcome to come out and participate. This will be a great event for all!
Where do the proceeds go?
If you register under a charity, at least $10 from your registration goes to the charity of your choice. The more profitable the event, the more money going to charity. If you don't choose a charity, the $10+ from your registration will be divided equally among all participating charities.
