Description
This is a fun, flat, fast course through the Old Town neighborhood of Forest Grove.
This event is a fundraiser for the Forest Grove High School Cross Country program and the Forest Grove Youth Running Club for kids grades 5-8 . The FGHS cross country team has grown from 10 members in 2000 to over 70 members. The High School program sent teams to OSAA state championships every year since 2011. The girls have won 4 of the last 5 Conference Championships while also ranking Top 10 in GPA ranking. The boys have won 5 of the last 6 Conference Championships. The FGRC annually sends youth runners to State and Regional Championships. The club also qualified an athlete for the National Championships. The youth club has grown from 40 athletes in 2015 to 70 in 2016. 2019 is a big year for youth cross country and we hope to bring back a fun competitive team to compete with other local schools. Timing
The race will be chip timed by Huber Timing. The timing chip will be attached to the race bib and is disposable and does not need to be returned after the race. Results will be available at the finish on kiosks and posted live to https://www.hubertiming.com/
The race bib must be worn on your chest or front of shorts and visible at all times.
