2ND ANNUAL FIREMAN’S MUD RUN 5K 2019
ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT DISTANT AREA VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT

WHEN:  Saturday, AUGUST 31, 2019

Registration begins at 10 am

LOCATION COORDINATES TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON. THE MUD RUN HAS BEEN RELOCATED TO A PRIVATE PROPERTY FOREST LAND & DOES NOT HAVE A PHYISCAL ADDRESS.  WE WILL DIRECT YOU TO THE LOCATION WITH A MAP AND COORDINATES UPON REGISTRATION.

• THIS IS A FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT: WE WILL HAVE ALL AGES GROUPS AVAILABLE.  
• Runners will be divided into groups. If you already have a group, please register together. (Group size no larger than 10 at a time).
•  Start time will be 11AM SHARP.
• WE HAVE A SECONDARY TRAIL RUN RACE START TIME AFTER THE MUD RUN PARTICIPANTS ARE ALL RELEASED.
• However not all groups will start at 11am.
• You will be released as a group in 5 minute intervals to ensure every participant group has a safe experience.
• Your start time will be dictated by the number of runners registered.

4. ALL CHILDREN MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED TO RECEIVE A CHILDRENS SIZE SHIRT. 
5. ONLY ADULT SIZES WILL BE AVAILABLE RACE DAY IN A LIMITED NUMBER, FIRST COME-FIRST SERVE. 
6. A $10 SAVINGS FOR PRE-REGISTRATION.

The Course: 5k   (IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A TRUE ENDURANCE CHALLENGE-CHECK OUT THE FIREMAN'S TRAIL RUN 5M OR 10M)
The race will take place on WOODED TRAILS, grass areas, ROCKY trails. Participants will experience, mud pits, balance challenges, hills, holes, climbing, crawling, carrying, dragging, water, dirt, and mud. Participants must follow FLAGGED course markings. Course will have challenges/obstacles is partly flat with some hills and rugged terrain in the wooded sections.. Wear old clothes & shoes. Bring some towels, and a change of clothes. Fire hose cold shower provided.

• AWARDS TO BE GIVEN:  OVERALL WINNERS MALE & FEMALE IN ADULT- TEEN- CHILDREN   1ST- 2ND PLACE IN ALL AGE DIVISIONS BOTH MALE & FEMALE, PARTICIPATION RIBBON FOR ALL CHILDREN UNDER 10.
• AGE DIVISIONS FOR THIS YEAR: 5 & UNDER, 6-8YEARS, 9-10 YEARS, 11-12 YEARS, 13 TO 15 YEARS, 16 TO 18 YEARS, 19 TO 24 YEARS, 25 TO 29, 30 TO 34, 35 TO 39, 40 TO 44, 45 TO 49, 50 TO 54, 55 TO 59, 60 TO 64, 65 TO 69, 70 TO 74, 75 TO 79, 80 & UP.
