Paws for Chance's Cause 5k Run/Walk

     Chance Keating is 7 years old and desperately needs an Allergen Detection Service Dog.  Chance has what is called Eosinophilic Esophasgitis, which means your esophagus is allergic to foods.  Chance is allergic to 90% of all foods.  All he can eat is Turkey, Tilapia Fish, Apples, Oats, Green Beans, Veggies and Fruits with no seeds.  Just the smell of Peanuts, Tree Nuts and Eggs can cause Chance to go into Anaphylactic Shock.  Chance's allergies can be life threatening.

     Chance also has Asthma, Acid Reflux Disease, Atopic Dermatitis, Constipation, Left Ventricular Hypertrophy, Tachycardia, Sleep Disorder, Leaky Heart Valves, Silent Heart Murmur, Migraines, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Blurred Vision.

     Teresa's Angels will send all proceeds directly to Allergen Detection Service Dogs.  The cost of the Service Dog for Chance is $12,500.  The Service Dog will be trained to Sniff anywhere and everywhere and alert Chance of potential danger.  The Dog will be trained for 1 year at the Allerge Detection Service Dogs in Colorado Springs.  When the Service Dog completes training, the family will travel to Colorado to train with the Service Dog for 2 weeks.

     In addition to the 5k Run/Walk at Nay Aug Park, there will be approximately 50 vendors, Children Activities (Bounce House, Pony Rides, Petting Zoo, Face Painter & more), 5 Bands, Karaoke Contest, DJ Music and More!
