Description
The race will be a 3.1 mile loop cross country trail run/ walk through the park at beautiful Nessmuk Lake. This event is to benefit the TIOGA COUNTY HONOR GUARD, a group of volunteers, mostly veterans, who perform free ceremonies when veterans are buried in the county. For more information, visit
Medals will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd M/F Overall Finishers and to 1st, 2nd, 3rd M/F age group finishers with special age categories for up to age 24. Starting with age group 25-29, awards will be given in 5 year increments up to 80+ years old (no duplication of awards). A special award will also be given to the first M/F veteran overall finishers. Dri-fit Tech Hats and goody bags will be given to the first 125 registered.
Ample parking is available, and the park is closed to traffic for a stress free race. A water station will be provided along the race route. Walkers are welcome! Refreshments will be served after the race, including CYTOMAX. Please no strollers, baby joggers, bicycles, skates, dogs, and/ or other animals permitted on the course.
