Pursuit Of Happiness SP5K

Welcome to the second annual SP5K, hosted by The Pursuit of Happiness Team who works to keep the memory of Spencer Phillip Kubala alive, as well as to carry out his dream of helping individuals and families who battle with substance abuse. Funds raised go to The Herren Project and The Spencer Kubala Legacy Foundation. The Pursuit of Happiness SP5K is York's  only evening 5K and will take place on Monday, July 3rd. The race will be the beginning of Spencer's annual benefit and birthday celebrations and will be held at Rudy Park. Though this event is near and dear to friends and family who knew Spencer, any and all participation is welcome!! You do not need to have a personal connection to participate in this event. The course will take you on a cross country grass and paved trails that will. At the end of the race, special events and awards will take place if you choose to join.

This is a family friendly event. There will be a Kid’s Fun Run before the start of the 5K, and the race takes place in a park near a playground. Kid and family games will be available near the pavilions to participate in while the run takes place.
