Tal Morrison Scholarship Fund

Donation Goal: $10,000

Every year, in honor of Tal Morrison - our founder and Dallas running scion - the Dallas Running Club and the Tal Morrison Scholarship Fund provide first year college scholarships to DISD seniors who are active participant in  high school cross-country running. Winners are not required to run in a collegiate program, but must demonstrate the discipline and competitiveness in the sport of cross-country running to be considered for the scholarship. Candidates are judged on their overall academic, athletic performance, as well as their written essays.

Typically, our race and membership budgets help fund these scholarship. Despite not hosting the typical calendar of races and suspending membership fees this year, we hope to continue this tradition.

We recommend $20.20, but any amount will go directly to the Tal Morrison Scholarship Fund.
