Description
General: Join us for a cross-country run "down on the farm" to help benefit the Virginia Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom. Within just a short drive of Charlottesville and Lynchburg, this event will feature both a 5k and a half mile Kids Fun Run.
Event Date: Saturday, September 7th, 2019
Registration:
- 5k
- $25 Early Bird Registration -- by 8/22/19 (guaranteed t-shirt size)
- $25 -- 8/23 - 9/5 (not guaranteed t-shirt - first come-first served while supplies last)
- $30 -- 9/6 online (no t-shirt guaranteed)
- $30 -- Day of event registration (on site at kiosk)
- 5K participants will receive a t-shirt (based on registration date and availability) and special reusable bag with water and snack with their entry fee.
- 5K is an officially timed event
- Kids 1/2 mile Fun Run
- $10
- Kids Fun Run participants will receive a prize bag with their entry fee
- Event is not timed
Race Day Information:
- Registration - 8:30am—9:15am
- Kids Fun Run - 9:15am
- 5K Welcome and Instructions - 9:30am
- 5K Race - 9:45am
- Short awards program to follow.
Participants are encouraged to enjoy food, beverages, music and more at Wood Ridge Farm Brewery following the event.
Awards:
- Medals will be offered to top runners during the awards ceremony following the race (approximately 11 AM). All registered will be in the running for special door prizes at the awards ceremony. .
