Event: Island Ambassadors - CRITICAL NEED!
Be an Island Race Ambassador. Needed for Great and Little Diamond, Peaks, Chebeague, Long and Cushings, Islands.
In advance of race weekend, we'll ship out on a Casco Bay Lines or private boat the equipment for an aid station (table, cooler, water jugs, nutrition goodies, waste can etc.) You'd see on race morning that these were delivered to a location we've chosen and in the week after the race, pack it up for our pickup or return by CBL boat.

Event: Athlete/Spectator Ferry Boat Crew
Two Casco Bay Lines ferries will transport athletes to their respective start venues on race morning. 2 volunteer crew on each boat will see that athlete's day bags are stored in cargo bins and then you'll accompany them ashore on Long Island a few hours later. (CBL staff will move them off the boat, you'll assist with an island volunteer vehicle to move them to the finish line). These boats will also serve as spectator platforms, so you'll have a chance too to watch a good part of the race before athlete's get to the finish line.
