RRRC Officer & Director Nominations

The President presides over meetings, represents the Club before the Road Runners Club of America, Inc. ("RRCA"), calls special meetings and appoints committee chairpersons.

The Vice President - Operations assumes the duties and powers of the president in the president's absence, performs special assignments as requested by the president, manages the club's race calendar and serves as contract race coordinator.

The Vice President - Communications develops and coordinates the club's communication, marketing, promotion and merchandising efforts.

The Secretary records the minutes of meetings, handles correspondences as requested by the president and keeps records of such minutes and correspondence.

The Treasurer administers all financial duties, signs checks and makes disbursements for expenditures approved by the Board of Directors, presents a budget pursuant to the By-Laws, prepares financial reports requested by the president and prepares or assists in the preparation of all necessary tax filings.

A Director is a member of Board of Directors, who is not an officer. The Board of Directors consists of the five officers and at least five but not more than twenty additional elected Club members who hold no other Club office. The Board of Directors manages the affairs of the Club and establishes its policies and procedures. A Director is expected to take a leadership role as a coordinator for a key Club task or with one or more of the Club's committees and/or work on special projects identified by the Board.
