Show us how you 2.53!
Why 2.53?
In previous years, FACT Oregon’s All Ability Tri4Youth has been a 2.53 mile triathlon - the combined distance of the swim, bike, and run. This year, for our 2020 Virtual Challenge, we invite you and your family and friends “to 253” in whatever way works for you to be HEALTHY, stay ACTIVE, keep SAFE, and feel CONNECTED.
Will there be a packet pick-up?
No, this event is entirely virtual. Simply register and you’ll be set!
How long will I have to complete the challenge?
The All Ability Tri4Youth 2020 Virtual Challenge will start on August 8, 2020 and go for two weeks, until August 22, 2020.
What are some ways I can participate?
The options are endless, but here are some suggestions:
You get the idea. How will YOU 2.53?
Does the challenge cost anything?
Nope! It’s completely free to participate. Registration provides us your information so we can send your medal and any prizes!
What will I get?
Every participant who registers and successfully completes the challenge will be sent a medal after the challenge is over! If you purchase a t-shirt, that will be mailed to you as well.
How do I show that I’ve completed the challenge?
Everyone who registers and participates will get a medal, no matter what! Please confirm your completion via email by August 25th to tri4youth@factoregon.org, preferably with a picture or video attached. Photos and videos received by August 25th will be included in our compilation video.
How do I connect with other families doing the Virtual Challenge?
We encourage you to join our Facebook group, where you can share your successes, selfies, and more with other participants.
How do I fundraise?
You can create a team fundraiser on this site, and/or set up a Facebook fundraiser for FACT Oregon. Fundraising teams raising $253 or more will receive a special thank you gift.
How do I reach out for more information or support?
Please email tri4youth@factoregon.org or call 503-786-6082.
Thank you! Your message was posted to Facebook.
