Run 4 Life 4 Miler for Suicide Prevention
Date: October 12th, 2024
Start Time: 8:00 am
Distances: 4 Mile & 4K Run and Walk
Location: Gemini Springs, DeBary, Fl along the paved trails
The Run 4 Life 4 Miler will begin and end in Oak Area of Gemini Springs Park in DeBary. Participants will run along the oak covered paved trails between Gemini Springs and Lake Monroe Park.
The goal of this race is to bring awareness to mental health/depression issues and to raise funds for programs providing support to those in need. It is also in remembrance of those who were overwhelmed by their struggles and felt suicide was their only option. All race proceeds will go to the Youth Emotional Support Foundation and other local suicide prevention programs.
Registration (all entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable)
$30 through July 31st
$35 August 1st through September 30th
$40 October 1st through Day of race
Finisher Medals: All registered participants that complete this event will receive a custom finisher medal!
T-shirts: All participants will receive an event t-shirt. Sizes and availability not guaranteed for late registration after September 3oth.
Awards and Timing: This will be a chip timed race for both the 4 Miler and the 4K. Run 4 Life signature "bobble head" awards will be given to the top 10 men and women finishers and the top masters male and female. ALL participants will have a timing chip on their bib to receive a finishing time and overall results will be posted on site and published on website following the event.
