FGCU Twelfth-Annual Gobbler 5k - In Person Event

The FGCU men's and women's cross country program is scheduled to host the Twelfth-Annual Gobbler 5k on Thanksgiving Day outside FGCU Alico Arena. The 5k race begins at 7:30 a.m., followed by the 1 Mile Fun Run at 8:15 a.m. and the Tot Trot at 8:30 a.m. A pre-registration fee of $25 will be required for those participating running the 5k race who registers before Monday, November 20th, 2023. The 5k entry fee will increase to $30 from Monday, November 20th to Wednesday, November 22nd, 2023 at 6:00am. On race day, a registration fee of $35 will be charged for the 5k and $12 for the 1 Mile Run. Tot Trot is free of charge!

Awards will be given to the top-10 male and top-10 female 5k finishers. ****Update: Guarantee shirt size to participants who register by November 15th. 

Packet Pickup will be on Wednesday, November 22nd from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at the Fit2Run Store in Coconut Point Mall, and on race morning starting at 6:00am in front of Alico Arena.

Proceeds from the event will go toward the FGCU cross country program. Please make checks payable to FGCU Athletics/Cross Country.
