Apex Race to Give

General Information:

We are excited to announce the return for the third year of the Race To Give in partnership with the Salvation Army of Lee Hendry and Glades Counties to be held on Saturday, January 13th, 2024. The 5K event will take place at Lakes Park, a Lee County Parks and Recreation facility.  This event will be a chip timed event that is open to runners and walkers of all ages.  Bring your family and friends out to an event for a great time with plenty of food and fun including bounce houses for the little ones.  All participants will receive a commemorative finisher’s medal and T-shirt.

Race Start Times:

5K 8:00am

1 Mile 8:05am

Awards will be given in the following categories for the 5k: 

Overall Male and Female 1st, 2nd, 3rd 

Age Division Structure:

(Age group awards are based on net chip time. 1st, 2nd, 3rd place Male and Female will be awarded)

0 to 9 | 10 to 19 | 20 to 29 | 30 to 39 | 40 to 49 | 50 to 59 | 60 to 69 | 70 plus

Parking:

Parking will be at Lakes Park at 7330 Gladiolus Dr, Fort Myers, FL 33908. We will be using shelter A1 and D1 for all race functions. 

Packet Pick-Up/Late Registrations:

Friday, January 12th at Fleet Feet Bell Tower from 4:00pm-6:00pm
