Eye Run 5k/10k for New Vision

Eye Care, I Run! Have you have known someone with macular degeneration? Glaucoma? Cataracts? Diabetes? Then you probably have known someone with low vision or blindness. New Vision for Independence provides training to help people of all ages with visual impairment in Lake and Sumter Counties learn to adapt to and overcome vision loss. Lake Eye Associates proudly sponsors the inaugural Eye Run 5k/10k for New Vision around Silver Lake. And learn more about New Visioin during the blindfolded 1/2 mile sensory walk. Shirts will be given to 5k and 10k participants who register by March 13, and all finishers will receive a custom Eye Run medal. Prizes awarded for most money raised and biggest team!
