Today is Global Running Day! We are so excited to celebrate with you. To make sure everything goes smoothly, here is everything you need to know for the big night.

🎉 This is a Celebration, Not a Race!
If you are new to this event, there is no set distance requirement because this is not a race. It’s a community celebration with a group run, walk, and an awesome post-run party. For those looking for a set path, we have a beautiful 3.1-mile route ready for you (details below).

🕺 70s Retro Costume Contest
This year, we’re throwing it back! Come ready to move—and maybe even dress the part. Break out your best retro look for our 70s Run Costume Contest. The Fleet Feet team will select two winners: 1 male and 1 female for "Best Costume," and each will win a coupon for a free pair of Brooks Ghost 18 shoes!

🚨 IMPORTANT EVENT UPDATE: We have over 300 people registered for this FREE event! That is a 150% increase from last year. Because of this incredible turnout, please read the logistics below carefully so we can keep everyone safe and having fun.

⏱️ Schedule & Logistics
Shoe Demo: Our friends at Brooks will be on-site providing demo pairs of shoes. Arrive early if you want to test-drive a pair for your run!
Arrival Time: Please arrive anytime after 5:40 PM.
Check-In: Head to the patio in front of the store. The Fleet Feet team will be there to check you in.
Wave Starts: To safely accommodate our large crowd, we will be sending runners off in waves. The first wave departs at 6:30 PM, with successive waves leaving every few minutes. Please help us keep everyone safe by honoring your wave start!
Road Closure Note: Orange Street (at Canal) will be closed to traffic directly in front of the store for our party area.

The Route: Orange St. from the store ➡️ Right on Julia ➡️ Left on Sams ➡️ Right on the sidewalk at Washington to the traffic light at Riverside & Washington. Use the crosswalk, then follow the running path to the Drawbridge and head back the same way.
Safety First: Aside from the party space in front of the store, there are no road closures, cones, or police stopping traffic on the running route. * Obey Traffic Laws: Please use sidewalks, obey all traffic signals, and watch for vehicles. We want everyone to have fun, stay safe, and respect our beautiful New Smyrna Beach community.

👕 Swag & T-Shirts (What you need to know)
Early Registrants (Shirt Included): If you registered early enough to secure a shirt, you will receive a wristband at check-in. You can pick up your shirt after the run by showing your wristband.
Missed the shirt? We got you: For the early birds who registered just after the shirts ran out, we have limited-edition Feetures Socks available while supplies last. We will provide them in order of date and time registered until they are gone...
No matter what: We promise nobody will go home empty-handed!
