The Publix Virtual Fall Championships

We’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to cancel ALL 2020 in-person My Favorite Race Events, Races. 

Please know that all of us at MFRE are devastated as well. We had hoped that we would be able to put on events this fall with extra safety precautions. However, we’ve run through many different scenarios, and it has become increasingly obvious we simply cannot offer our events this fall without compromising our runners' safety and the safety of My Favorite Race Events' staff and volunteers and the quality of the races we produce.  The health and safety of our runners, volunteers, partners, and local community are paramount and something we do not take lightly.
  
So what is next?

This event has been switched to a Virtual Only event.   You will be able to enter your results on the RunSignUp Race registration site.    You will be able to sign up until November 14th, 2020, and then have 30 days to complete your run and submit your time.
We will still be awarding the awards to our overall winners.  The male and female overall winners will each receive a plaque and free entry into next year's event.
We will also be awarding each age group winner a 50% off coupon toward next year's event.
We will have a packet pick up where you will be able to pick up your packet, including your race shirt, medal, and race bib.

We will be having a Fun Run at packet pickup where, if you would like, you can come prepared to go on a Fun Run.    (This will be on your own).   Publix will be providing bottled water, bananas, and granola bars for after your run!   The date and location will be announced soon!

The Grand Slam Virtual Half Marathon 

The Out of the Park Virtual 5K

The benefactors of this event will be the Florida Gulf Coast Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association and the Florida Compassion Foundation.

Your choice of a Tank Shirt or a Long-sleeve Tech Shirt for the Half Marathon.

Your Choice of a Tank Shirt or a Dry Fit T-Shirt for the 5K.

Every entry will receive an amazing custom medal!

Awards for the male and female overall winners in the Half Marathon. 

Awards for the male and female overall winners in the 5K.

Awards for the boy and girl youth overall in the 5K

Age group awards go to the winner of each age group.

All Master's age groups.

Register and become a fundraiser and have your registration fee refunded after you hit your Fundraising Goal! (minimums apply)  You run for free!   We set you up with a personal URL so your friends and family can donate to your efforts!

All Half Marathon and 5K finishers will get a custom Finishers Medal.

Deeply discounted entry fees are available for early registration!

You can also purchase Registration Insurance to cover your registration fee, even if you get called into work and can not make the race!

Refund Policy

Your entry into this race is considered a Charitable Donation to our charities.  You can cancel your registration online within 15 minutes of registering and receive a full refund.  After 15 minutes there are no refunds for any reason!   This race has a NO REFUND POLICY.  By registering, you are accepting and agreeing to this policy.

You may purchase Registration Insurance to protect your registration fee if you can not make it to the race for reasons covered in the contract.
