Breaking the Cycle of Destruction 5K Run (Draft)

Providing funds for the maintenance and household expenses of the ministry home that assists women who otherwise would be homeless and from diverse backgrounds to get back on their feet while teaching them productive life skills needed to make it on their own. The money raised will also provide the funds to acquire teaching material needed for other ministry purposes of teaching both men and women who are part of New Beginnings.
Since 2007 the ministry has helped women, men, and families who were either homeless, abused, living in cars, unsafe, or undesirable places. In the past, the ministry rented homes that assisted in helping each resident with life coaches, guidance, encouragement, and positive support, in a safe environment. A portion of funds raised from the event will be used to purchase a home and continue serving women who need an opportunity for a positive change in their life. No longer paying rent, which is exceptionally high, the ministry will lower the expense of housing, allowing a chance to help more women in need.
