The First 5K Race

Come join us at our Nocatee campus on Saturday, April 23rd, 2022, for our inaugural The First 5k race. There will be a 5k, 10k and 1 mile fun run that will take you through neighborhood streets and the Greenway Trails before you cross the finish line at our Nocatee campus. 

First Baptist Church Jacksonville at Nocatee has been delighted to serve the Nocatee community since 2009. From it’s beginning, the focus of this community church is to share hope of Jesus Christ through “reaching all of Jacksonville with all of Jesus for all of life”

Since opening their permanent facility in 2019, the church has committed to using their building to serve the community. Over 12 community groups have used the facility and fields, and regular sports leagues, co-ops, and workout groups use the facility weekly.

In 2022, the church launched “The Grow Campaign” – it’s plan to grow its facility footprint to accommodate it’s growing ministry in the community, and to create more space for the community. All proceeds from this race go directly to the effort to create more space to love and serve Nocatee in Jesus’ name.
