4th Annual ROYGBIV Run/Walk/Move

This is the Raymond James Pride Inclusion Network’s 4th Annual Run/Walk/Move to benefit the Gulfport Library LGBTQ Resource Center. The LGBTQ Resource Center is committed to promoting awareness of the diversity of experiences, contributions and needs of people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and/or queer. We do this by providing education, social and recreational opportunities through the Gulfport Public Library, including books, films, music, speakers, exhibitions and other events, as well as an online presence.

Run/Walk/Move at your own pace for any distance you choose on May 20th! This is your chance to join a community of co-runners and movers while benefitting a local LGBTQ organization in Gulfport.

Three Tiers This Year

This year we will have 3 tiers for registration. Read below to see what each tier consists of. 

Love is Love ($15)

This tier is our basic registration level. You will not receive SWAG or a T-shirt but will be able to participate in our event while supporting the LGBTQ Resource Center. A T-shirt can be purchased for an additional cost. 

Harvey Milk ($30)

This is our mid-range tier and will include some items in our famous SWAG bag and a T-shirt while supporting the LGBTQ resource center.  

The Queen ($40)

The top tier is The Queen. You will receive our famous SWAG bag as well as a free T-shirt while supporting the LGBTQ resource center. 

Is This Race In-Person or Virtual? 

It's both! This year we will be hosting the Run/Walk/Move in person at Phillippe Park in Safety Harbor. If you're local join us on May 20th to move with your friends for a good cause. We will have hydration stations, music and plenty of motivation to move. If you aren't local you can run/walk/move in your own neighborhood and upload your results here.

Time:  7:30am check in begins with festivities
            8:00am event announcement and speakers
            8:15am start of walk/run/move

Not local?  No problem!  You can still join in on the fun and your swag will be mailed to you!

How to Complete Your Virtual Event

Once you have signed up for the event and received your swag, decide on what you want to complete, lace up and finish your activity on May 20th. You must track your results, which you can do with any running app that records distance and time. Recommended apps include Strava, FitBit, NRC and Map My Run.                   

Submit Your Results

Once you have completed your activity, you will submit your results on the run sign up platform.
