Walk In My Shoes 2024 - Sarasota to Bradenton

Come walk with us! Join the Lauren’s Kids foundation and thousands of walkers across the state for the 2024 Walk in My Shoes 1,500-mile trek across Florida – beginning in Key West! Walk for 3 miles or more…every step counts in the fight to prevent child sexual abuse and help survivors heal. 

#WhyWeWalk: Together, we’re walking during the month of April – National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month –  to raise awareness, educate communities, and empower survivors.

We'll start registration at Safe Place & Rape Crisis Center at 8:00 am on Thursday, April 11, 2024, and begin walking at 8:45 am.  We'll walk 3.1 miles to Kane's Furniture where we'll take a water break. Those feeling adventurous can continue on with us for even more miles. Registration will close online at 4:00 pm on April 10th but you can still bring friends to register at the walk!
