Description
The David C. Anchin Center and the USF College of Education are proud to announce the 2nd Annual 5K for K-12, a fundraising event in support of K-12 teachers in the Tampa Bay Area. The 5K will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024 and will draw an anticipated crowd of 500-600 Tampa Bay area teachers, students, community members, and education advocates.
The David C. Anchin Center provides professional development in support of teachers working towards restructuring schools in ways that improve the quality of education. All proceeds from the 5K for K-12 will go towards offering free professional development opportunities for practicing K-12 teachers and administrators!
This race has been certified as an official 5K. The run/walk will begin at 8:00am; the 1 mile fun run will begin at 8:30am.
Come run through the beautiful Tampa campus of the University of South Florida in support of teachers and education!

Awards
Awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male & female overall and male and female winners in each age group.
