9th Annual Umatilla Kiwanis 5K for the Kids - IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL RACES

This year is showcasing the UMATILLA SCHOOLS - Umatilla Elementary, Umatilla Middle, Umatilla High, Altoona Charter and SpringCreek with our New Designed Shirt and as we try to raise funds to help fund school projects we have decided to Honor our Teachers and Students with a LOW LOW participation FEE.  For all current teachers that sign up as a TEAM the fee is $15.  For all students, the fee is $10.  This IS the 9th  Annual Umatilla Kiwanis 5K for the Kids, Running/walking, to raise funds for the Kids of North Lake County - In-Person Race November 4, 2023 Start time 7:30 A.M. Cadwell Park  and through Beautiful Umatilla on our USATF Certified course FL19064TY or Virtual September 1 through November 4, 2023, 9 A.M. The monies go directly to the youth-based organizations of North Lake County 100% of our proceeds.  More now than ever get out there and run, walk, dance through the streets or wherever you want from September 1, 2023  through November 5, 2023- 9 A.M.  Following CDC guidelines (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prepare/prevention.html)  protect yourself, social distance but still live your life to the fullest and help OUR Community.  The Kiwanis support programs College Scholarships, Back-to-School Clothing, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Science Fairs, Boys and Girls Club Support, Holiday Meals for Disadvantage Families, Christmas Gifts, just to name a few!  Help us Support of Kids.

THE UMATILLA KIWANIS 5K IS AN USATF CERTIFIED TRACK !  Virtual Runners!!  If you want you can run the race in town-- the road is marked with Orange markings.  Run the race any day you can from  September 4, 2023 through November 4, 2023 9 a.m.  and send us your picture with finish time to win great awards to be shipped to you.   A great FREE running app is MapMyRun load it onto your phone and it will keep track of your distance or set it for a 5K then send a pic of you and a screenshot of your finished day and time. BUSINESSES, CLUBS, SCHOOLS - ADULTS that join as a Group with five or more individuals and receive a great discount of $10 off the race price for signing up early and as a group the cut off is 10/24/2023 to grab this great savings!!
