Description
The 2nd Annual Vet Fest Lake County 5k run/walk will be located at 4 Cassady St. Umatilla, Fl. 32784 (Cadwell Park) on October 30th 2021. The event will be open at 0700 for late registration and race packet pick-up. Race to begin at 0730 on the corner of Cassady St. and N. Trowell Ave. The 5k course is a USATF certified track and ASP Timing will be conducting and calculating finish times. Course outline will be provided online and available for handouts during late registration. Light refreshments will be provided (small bottle water and snack bars) before and after the race. Participation ribbons will be handed out to those completing the outlined course and plaques will be awarded by the following: Top 3 times for run/walk ages under 18, 18-54 and 55+. Early registration will be closed out at midnight October 28, 2021.
Preregistration fee 18/older: $35.00
Preregistration fee 17/under: $25.00
Day of registration fee 18/older: $40.00
Day of registration fee 17/under: $30.00
All early registration payees will secure an event shirt with their event packets during 0700-0730 on October 30, 2021.
Race fees will assist two local veteran (501-c3) non-profit organizations: One Team One Fight 4 PTSD & The Last Ride
