The Great Sanitize Virtual 5k

Because you probably need a break from Netflix...

Join us for the first ever (and hopefully the last!) Great Sanitize 5k Virtual Run!

Anyone can register, run/walk, and receive AMAZING swag for this event. This run is what you make of it. The pace is yours, the time of day, day of the week and location (treadmill, trail or road or laps around your couch if you’re stuck in quarantine!), all up to you!  Once you’ve completed your run, we require that you share with us a screen shot of your distance & time through our email or on our Facebook event page, and be sure to use #thegreatsanitize5k as your taking all those wonderful selfies!!!  We want to see ‘em all!  The before, the during, and the after!  Why?  Well because we’ve seen all that The Tiger King has to offer and we are ready for some new entertainment!

In true Gulf Breeze Apparel fashion your race registration comes with some killer swag!  Custom race bib, finisher’s medal, and comfy triblend shirt!  If you’ve attended one of the MANY races in our area that we work with, then chances are you’ve seen the ladies on our run team in tank tops, runners are always commenting on them, so with your registration, ladies’, you have the opportunity to upgrade to one of those AMAZING tank tops!!

Do you find yourself asking, why on earth should I register for this virtual run? The only reason is because we need your support (and because the finisher’s medal is freaking awesome)!  We are so super proud to be the “go to” vendor for run events in our area, we LOVE supporting all the runs, running in them, and appreciating all the hard work these Race Directors put it!  In addition to LOVING what we do with all these events, they have become our lifeline!  Owning an event centric business in the middle of a pandemic basically means we are out of business until further notice. And honestly? We need this business to survive!  We want to be able to continue to provide our services for all these run events that have either had to cancel or postpone because of this pesky virus!  Your small registration fee helps us get through until it's over and we can get back to business. Plus! Why not?  You’re not doing anything anyways!  Think of it as investing a small part of your stimulus check, and again, getting some baller swag to remember this not so baller time.

Registration starts immediately! You can run and report your time & distance ANYTIME between now and May 2nd, but the Virtual Run will officially take place on May 2nd, so if you want to plan a group FaceTime and all run together, or a Facebook Live, or a Zoom meeting, get creative, the options are crazy right now, just be sure that you are in a safe environment AND in full compliance with all public health guidelines set out by local, state and federal entities.
