THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL AUGUST 15, 2020
In response to the rapidly changing circumstances associated with the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), a decision has been made to POSTPONE the Feathers 5K run/walk that was scheduled to take place on March 28, 2020 at Town Brookhaven.
Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation (ACCF) carefully weighed the risk to attendees and their families, coworkers, sponsors, and the general public. We feel strongly that postponing the 5K is the responsible action to take as the health and safety of everyone is our top priority.
The enthusiasm, effort and generosity shown by everyone since the Feathers 5K registration opened has been absolutely extraordinary! The race has been rescheduled to August 15, 2020.
Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation (ACCF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization will be hosting the FEATHERS 5K run or walk race with chip timing. USA Track & Field has certified this road race course (certification code: GA20002DJ).
The FEATHERS 5K is a community based and family friendly FUNDraiser event in which participants can “flock together” at Town Brookhaven to help make the financial burden of cancer as light as a feather. Proceeds from this event will be used to support ACCF’s worthy mission. ACCF is grateful to all of our event sponsors, with special recognition of our top sponsors: Hiba Tamim, MD, Atlanta Cancer Care, AstraZeneca, Northside Hospital Cancer Institute, Unlimited Systems, Radiotherapy Clinics of Georgia, Merck, Seattle Genetics, The Perpetual Financial Group Inc., Paxman USA, Wells Fargo, Serendipity Labs, Carol Alexander, Courtney Clark, and Pfizer Oncology – This is Living With Cancer (www.thisislivingwithcancer.com).
ACCF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. ACCF provides critical assistance to hundreds of adult cancer survivors throughout a 17 county Metro Atlanta service area each year through their Patient Financial Assistance program (www.atlantacancercarefoundation.org).
