The Forsyth Century Challenge will be the best ride of your life. Forsyth County has the best roads and breath taking scenery for avid cyclists.Enjoy the country side and take part in the best rest stops you will find throughout the ride.The course has a 32, 67, and 100 mile loop (mileage could change with traffic situations) ,and full SAG support throughout the ride. Come out and enjoy the great ride and the festivities after the event. We will have a variety of food,great rest stops, raffles and and a lot of fun.

The rest stops will have a better selection of food and the roads will have markings on the road that will show the turns well before you get to them.

 

Cycling Pacers: In the running world there are pacers that are identified as lead runners for those that need to stay within a group that runs within the time frame of their skill level. The Forsyth Century ride is going to incorporate the pacer format cyclists that need a group that is within their skill level. The goal of the Cyling Pacers will be to:

-Lead the group within the pacing range of that particular group.

-Stop at a safe location as a group

-Demonstratet the correct safety procedures for cyling.  

-Stay with the group (no drop).

-Stay in touch with the Sag vehicle for emergency purposes.

Cycling pacers will ride free and will receive the full amenities offered in this event.

NEW REGISTRATIONS WILL BE TAKEN AT THE EVENT ON SUNDAY FROM 6 AM TO 7:30 AM

Start to Finish

Cyclists will NOT be allowed to start Forsyth Century Challenge after 8:15am or continue the course after 5:00pm.  Cyclists on the route after the course has been closed will be SAGed to the finish line.  These rules will be strictly enforced to assure the safety of the riders and our volunteers.  You cooperation is greatly appreciated.  Schedule of events is subject to change. 

Ride Notifications: All riders will be required to select a pacing group and stay with that group for the entire ride. This procedure will be a key safety factor for all riders. All riders will have to carry the Sag contact information, race director information, and a phone (we are testing ride with GPS turn by turn app).
