Race Morning Pickup

Check-In opens at 6:00 am on race morning.  Be sure to arrive closer to 6:00 am than 7:00 am. We strongly encourage you to come to Early Packet Pickup.

You are invited to join us together with some of The Georgia National Guard’s finest in participating on Saturday, October 23rd at 7:30 a.m. for the opening ceremony and ASSAULT up Kennesaw Mountain starting at 8:00am, followed by the Awards Ceremony, located on Top of Kennesaw Mountain at 9:00am.

While the ASSAULT is up historical Kennesaw Mountain, the assembly, opening ceremony, and parking will be at Grace Community Church.  The finish line is at the top of the mountain and racers will then use a short cut to get back the church parking lot. 

No vehicles will be allowed to go to the top of the mountain for the Awards Ceremony. So, if you have friends or loved ones that want to meet you at the top. Make sure they are aware of this, and they plan to move up the trail to the top for the 9:00am awards ceremony.

We will supply fruit/ water and restrooms, prior to the race we will also supply a vehicle to take bags to the top, extra clothes, food, water etc.

Awards Categories:

- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Overall Female and Male Finishers

- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals in each Male and Female Age Group

Race Age Awards Categories:

10 and under,11-15,16-20, 21-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56-60, 61-65, 66-70, 71-75 ,76-80 ,80 and older.

You are invited to join together with people from all walks of life to honor America’s finest, in support of an organization that provides much needed relief in times of crisis, to America’s finest.  You will have 43 days to complete your race starting on September 11, 2021 to race day, on 23 October 2021. Registration will remain open until 22 October 2021.  

We look forward to cheering you on from wherever you may be!!! We are thrilled to experience the fun and fellowship that the in person race will bring, as well as the seeing all of the smiling faces of our virtual supporters posted on our social media!!

For virtual racers, race packets will be mailed in bulk for every 25 virtual registrations received, so you will not have to wait an extended period of time for your packet.

Can't make it out to the event site on race day, but you still want to participate or support the cause and have a shot at an award? Or maybe you saw the shirt and said:  "Sweet...I want one!"  Then the virtual race is for you!  Run when & where you want then submit your time by end of Race Day.  We'll ship out virtual packages the Monday after event date! *Shipping available for continental US only.

Download your Custom Digital Bib!  Hydrate, grab your buddy (or not) and get ready to get moving!

Get out there and run or walk! You can run where you are currently located; at the park, your favorite route in your neighborhood; anywhere you want.   Please remember to social distance & be safe!

All participants will automatically qualify for (1) FREE entry into one of the 2021 Five Star Thanksgiving Turkey Trots.  See event website.

  Race Day Events:

6:00-7:15 a.m. - Late registration  (Shirts available only in remaining sizes)

6:00-7:15 a.m. - Packet pick-up

7:30 a.m. - Pre-Assault ceremony commemorating our fallen warriors

8:00 a.m. - ASSAULT begins!!!

9:00 a.m. - Awards ceremony

Our events are designed to be fun for the entire family. With that in mind; any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike
conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.

All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.

Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants...there are no refunds in this case.

Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag.

No COVID-19 Refunds.  If unforeseen circumstances arise due to COVID-19, including any Federal or State Health Emergency, refunds will not be provided.  The event will go 100% Virtual & shirts will be shipped to participants.
