The Race For Rescue!

The Race for Rescue, Oahu Search and Rescue’s primary fund raising event, is a 5K run that has been held each year, in October at the scenic Ka’ena Point State Park. OSAR relies on this event to fund our organization for the next year, covering costs like insurance, technical rescue gear, and educational supplies. Last year, due to Covid, we took the race virtual. This year, we will again be having a virtual race, as well as an in person race if allowable based on City and County regulations.

Registration runs from August 15th until October 15th.

The virtual race can be run anytime between October 1st and October 31st.

Our in person race at Kaena Point State Park will be held at Saturday, October 30th.
